Switch - Armrest - 2nd Row Seat - LH (Model Y L) (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.

Move the LH 1st row seat and LH 2nd
row seat forward.
NoteAdjust the seat back if necessary to prevent contact with the headliner and other parts.

Adjust the LH 2nd row seat armrest to
its highest position.

Release all clips (x21) that attach
the inboard side shield to the LH 2nd row seat by loosening the front and rear outer
clips at the backrest first, then gently pulling the assembly outward to remove.
NoteProceed carefully to avoid damage.

Disconnect the LH 2nd row armrest switch connector.

Release the clips (x4) that attach the armrest switch to the LH 2nd row side shield
assembly, then push the switch toward inside to remove it.
Replace

Secure the clips (x4) that attach the armrest switch to the LH 2nd row side shield
assembly.
NoteAn audible click will be heard when the armrest switch is properly seated.

Connect the LH 2nd row armrest switch connector.

Secure the clips (x21) that attach the
inboard side shield to the LH 2nd row seat.
NoteMake sure that all clips are fully seated on the LH 2nd row seat.

Adjust the LH 2nd row seat armrest to
its original position.
- Move the LH 2nd row seat and LH 1st row seat to their original positions.
- Raise the LH windows and close the LH doors.
