Remove
- Remove the tail lamp assembly from the liftgate. See Tail Lamp - Liftgate (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
Replace

Install the tail lamp assembly to the
liftgate. See Tail Lamp - Liftgate (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
NoteWhen replacing the part, since the new part comes with a new camera bracket, there is no need to install the camera bracket onto the tail lamp assembly; simply connect the trinity camera connector.
- Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox (Connect and Disconnect).

In Toolbox 3.0, perform the following
steps.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Calibration Mode" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_ENTER-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Back Up" into the search field, click PING-HTTP_DAS_X_BACKUP-CAMERA-SCRIPTvia Toolbox:(link), change the timeout to 100, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Click the Actions tab, type "Calibration Mode" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_EXIT-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Service Mode Plus:Driver Assist ➜ Cameras ➜ Exit Factory Calibration Modevia Toolbox:(link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
- Disconnect the laptop and exit Service Mode Plus. See Service Mode Plus.
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
