Equipment:
- 1467483-00-C - M3/Y Penthouse Service Insulator Kit
- 1108272-00-B - CAP, LOGIC CONN, INV, 3DU
Remove
- Remove the ancillary bay cover. See Cover - Ancillary Bay (Model YL) (Remove and Install).

Install the HVC logic cap.

Inspect the ancillary bay for any missing insulators, and install the service
insulator kit.
- Remove the pyro disconnect. See Pyro Disconnect - HV Battery (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the HVC connectors (x7).

Lift the high voltage controller up away from the ancillary bay and release the tabs
(x2), and then remove the controller from the slots (x2).

Remove the high voltage controller logic cap.
Install

Install the high voltage controller logic cap.

Insert the high voltage controller along the location slots (x2), and then secure the
tabs (x2).
NoteEnsure the controller is fully engaged and properly installed.

Connect the HVC connectors (x7).
- Install the pyro disconnect. See Pyro Disconnect - HV Battery (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the service insulator kit.

Remove the HVC logic cap.

Inspect the ancillary bay cover for damage.
NoteIf there is any dent or depression in the sealing surface that causes it to not be flat, or any paint that comes off the ancillary bay cover, perform the ancillary bay air leak test. If the test is passed, the ancillary bay cover can be reused.
