Remove and Clean Radiator (Heat Pump) (Maintenance)

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Enable Service Mode. See 정비 모드(활성화 및 비활성화).
  3. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See 게이트웨이(잠금 해제).
  4. Run the routine using Service Mode or Toolbox: PROC_VCFRONT_X_START-THERMAL-FILL-DRAINvia Service Mode:
    • Thermal ➜ Actions ➜ Start Thermal Fill/Drain
    • Thermal ➜ Coolant System ➜ Start Coolant Fill/Drain
    • Thermal ➜ Refrigerant System ➜ Start Refrigerant Fill/Drain
    via Service Mode Plus:
    • Drive Unit ➜ Front Drive Unit Replacement ➜ Start Coolant Fill/Drain
    • Drive Unit ➜ Rear Drive Unit Replacement ➜ Start Coolant Fill/Drain

  5. Raise and support the vehicle.
  6. Turn wheel fully to the right.
  7. Remove the underhood storage unit. See 후드 내 보관 유닛(탈거 및 장착).
  8. Remove the front fascia. See 페시아 어셈블리 - 전면(탈거 및 장착).
  9. Remove the cooling fan assembly. See 모듈 - 냉각 팬(탈거 및 교체).
  10. Release the locking clips guides, and remove the 12mm radiator.
    참고
    Do not pry on the radiator to prevent damage.
  11. Use a vacuum to clean debris from both sides of the radiator.
    참고
    Do not damage fins of radiator.
  12. Use a blow gun to clean both sides of the radiator with compressed air.

    Do not damage fins of radiator.
  13. Release the locking clips (x4) and remove the 21mm radiator.
    참고
    Release one clip at a time.
  14. Use a vacuum to clean debris from both sides of the radiator.
    참고
    Do not damage fins of radiator.
  15. Use a blow gun to clean the radiator with compressed air.

    Do not damage fins of radiator.
  16. Secure the locking clips (x4) and install the 21mm radiator.

    Position then secure clips.
  17. Secure the locking clips (x2) and guides (x2) to install the 12mm radiator.

  18. Install the cooling fan assembly. See 모듈 - 냉각 팬(탈거 및 교체).
  19. Install the front fascia. See 페시아 어셈블리 - 전면(탈거 및 장착).
  20. Perform a cooling system vacuum refill. See 냉각 시스템(진공 보충).
  21. Install the underhood storage unit. See 후드 내 보관 유닛(탈거 및 장착).
  22. Turn steering wheel back to center.
  23. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox(연결 및 연결 해제).
  24. Run the routine PROC_VC_X_RESET-RADIATOR-UA-INDEXvia Toolbox:(link)

  26. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle.
  27. Exit Service Mode Plus. See 정비 모드 플러스.
  28. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
  29. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
