Fjerne

  1. Remove the ancillary bay cover. See Deksel – tilleggsbrønn (fjerne og skifte ut).
  2. Install the HV battery insulators. See Isolatorer – høyspenningsbatteri (montere og fjerne).
  3. Remove the HV battery skid plate. See Beskyttelsesplate – høyspenningsbatteri – bak (fjerne og skifte ut).
  4. Drain the ancillary bay coolant. See Kjølevæske for tilleggsbrønn (tømme og fylle).
  5. Remove the pyrotechnic battery disconnect. See Frakobling av pyroteknisk batteri (fjerne og skifte ut).
  6. Remove the DC input assembly from the ancillary bay. See DC-inngangsenhet – høyspenningsbatteri (samleskinnetype) (fjerne og skifte ut).
  7. Remove the bolts (x2) and nut that secure the fast charge assembly to the ancillary bay.
    5.5 Nm (4.1 lbs-ft)
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)
  8. Remove the negative AC inlet terminal cover.

  9. Remove and discard the bolt that secures the negative AC inlet terminal to the negative inlet fast charge busbar.
    4.4 Nm (3.2 lbs-ft)
  10. Remove the positive AC inlet terminal cover.

  11. Remove and discard the bolt that secures the positive AC inlet terminal to the positive inlet fast charge busbar.

  12. Remove the clip that secures the AC filter harness to the fast charge assembly.
  13. Remove the AC filter harness.

Montere

  1. Install the clip that secures the AC filter harness to the fast charge assembly.
  2. Install the bolt that secures the positive AC inlet terminal to the positive inlet fast charge busbar.
    4.4 Nm (3.2 lbs-ft)
  3. Install the bolt that secures the negative AC inlet terminal to the negative inlet fast charge busbar.
    4.4 Nm (3.2 lbs-ft)
  4. Perform a zero adjust of the Hioki resistance meter at the HV joint of the AC filter harness. See Motstandsmåler (nulljustering).
  5. Install the negative AC inlet terminal cover.

  7. Position the fast charge assembly onto the ancillary bay for installation.
  8. Install the bolts (x2) and nut that secure the fast charge assembly to the ancillary bay.
    5.5 Nm (4.1 lbs-ft)

  9. Install the DC input assembly to the ancillary bay. See DC-inngangsenhet – høyspenningsbatteri (samleskinnetype) (fjerne og skifte ut).
  10. Perform an ancillary bay coolant leak test. See Test for kjølevæskelekkasjer i tilleggsbrønn.
  11. Install the HV battery skid plate. See Beskyttelsesplate – høyspenningsbatteri – bak (fjerne og skifte ut).
  12. Connect the 12V auxiliary battery negative terminal only.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

  13. Connect a 12V charger to the 12V auxiliary battery terminals.
  14. Refill the coolant to the MAX line.
  15. Connect a laptop with Toolbox to the vehicle.
  16. In Toolbox, type "vcfront" into the search field.
  17. Click the "play" button next to TEST-RESET_VCFRONTSearch for routine in ToolboxVCFRONT UDS ECU ResetLow Voltage Controllers Low Voltage ControllersMid Voltage / Power Distribution - Reset VCFRONTLow Voltage / Power Distribution - Reset VCFront, and then select RUN.
  18. Click the "play" button next to TEST_VCFRONT_X_THERMAL-COOLANT-AIR-PURGESearch for routine in ToolboxCoolant Air PurgeLow Voltage Controllers Low Voltage ControllersThermal / Actions - Coolant Purge StartThermal / Coolant System - Coolant Purge Starthv / Procedures - , and then select RUN.

    The test will last for approximately 10 minutes. Monitor and keep the superbottle topped off while the test is running. If pump speeds stay above 6900 rpm, there is still air entrapped in the system; run a cooling system vacuum refill.
  19. Refill the coolant to the MAX line.
  20. Install the coolant bottle cap.
  21. Power off the vehicle from the touchscreen.
  22. Remove the 12V charger from the 12V auxiliary battery terminals.
  23. Disconnect the 12V auxiliary battery negative terminal.
  24. Put on PPE including the HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves.
  25. Install the pyrotechnic battery disconnect.. See Frakobling av pyroteknisk batteri (fjerne og skifte ut).
  26. Remove the HV battery insulators. See Isolatorer – høyspenningsbatteri (montere og fjerne).
  27. Install the ancillary bay cover. See Deksel – tilleggsbrønn (fjerne og skifte ut).
