1. Inspect front external lights

   Look for cosmetic damages and humidity ingress

   

2. Inspect rear external lights

   Look for cosmetic damages and humidity ingress, it is acceptable for taillights to have some condensation

4. Inspect windshield for rock chips and cracks
   注

   No damage in driver’s viewing area, airbag impact area, forward camera viewing area, or within 50 mm of edge allowed, No more than 3 cracks or chips to glass allowed

   

5. Check all emergency release cables and switches
   注

   Front door releases, Use caution with front door releases as door glass will not drop and could damage seals or bright molding, Remove 2nd row door panel pocket cover to reveal emergency cable

   

   

   

   

6. Function check chargeport door (5 cycles)
   注

   5x cycles, Inspect and note functionality full range of motion, touch to open, and indicator light. Look for interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

   

7. Open liftgate from exterior switch

   

8. Close liftgate

   

   

9. Function check LH front door (exterior)
   注

   Inspect and note functionality for the door handle operation and full range of motion of the door, From outside look for interference with brightwork and door to body, Note any abnormalities

   

10. Function check LH front door (interior)
    注

    Inspect and note functionality for the interior door release, puddle lamps, and manual release cable, From inside look for interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

    

11. Function check all windows from the master switch
    注

    Check operation with door closed, Document any abnormal operation/noises

    

12. Function check RH rear door (exterior)

    Inspect and note functionality for the door handle operation and full range of motion of the door, From outside look for interference with brightwork and door to body, Note any abnormalities

    

13. Function check RH rear door (interior)

    Latch and unlatch buckle, Quickly pull retractor to check locking function

    

27. Function check folding/latching of 2nd row seats
    注

    Make sure seat shoulder switches, center seat switch and trunk side trim seat switches operate as expected

    

    

    

    

28. Function check the rear seat belts

    Latch and unlatch buckles, Quickly pull retractor to check locking function

    

29. Function check the RH front seat belt
    注

    Latch and unlatch buckle, Quickly pull retractor to check locking function

    

30. Function check RH front seat

    Check full range of motion of seat, Test lumbar and seat heat/cooling

    

31. Function check wipers and spray jets

    Ensure hood and doors are closed prior to activating wipers, Inspect and note functionality for wipers and wiper jets, Check for full range of motion, speed of motion, interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

    

32. Open hood

41. Perform inspection of under hood area
    注

    Perform inspection of vehicle under hood area, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance

    

42. Visually inspect brake fluid level

    

43. Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary
    注

    Ensure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required

    

    

44. Raise and support vehicle
    注

    Ensure vehicle is not charging

    

    

    

45. Remove LH front wheel cap
    注

    Lift every other spoke at a time until cap is released from rim

    

    

    

46. Remove RH front wheel cap

    Lift every other spoke at a time until cap is released from rim

    

    

    

47. Remove RH rear wheel cap

    Lift every other spoke at a time until cap is released from rim

    

    

    

48. Remove LH rear wheel cap

53. Raise vehicle partially and lower lift onto locks

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, Otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side

    

    

54. Remove LH front wheel

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

    

    

55. Remove RH front wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

    

    

56. Remove RH rear wheel

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

    

    

57. Remove LH rear wheel

58. Record tread depth for LH rear tire
    注

    Measure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

    

59. Measure and record LH rear brake pad thickness
    注

    Recommend replacement if 2mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads

    

60. Inspect LH rear brake rotor condition
    注

    Check for excessive rust or wear, Minimum spec 26mm

    

61. Record tread depth for RH rear tire
    注

    Measure and record the outer, center, and inner tread depths, Measure the circumferential tire grooves only, Do not place the tire tread gauge probe on the molded treadwear indicators, Recommend replacement if tread depth is 4/32in (3mm) or less

    

62. Measure and record RH rear brake pad thickness
    注

    Recommend replacement if 2 mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads

    

63. Inspect RH rear brake rotor condition
    注

    Check for excessive rust or wear, Minimum spec 26mm

    

64. Record tread depth for RH front tire
    注

68. Measure and record LH front brake pad thickness

    Recommend replacement if 2mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads

    

69. Inspect LH front brake rotor condition
    注

    Check for excessive rust or wear, Minimum spec 30mm

    

70. Perform visual inspection of all brake pipes and hoses
    注

    Pay special attention to brake junction points

    

    

71. Check all four tire pressures manually
    注

    4x tires, Set to specification if necessary, Refer to the "Tire and Loading Information" label located on the driver side B-pillar, Inspect wheels and tires for any bulges or damage while checking/setting pressures

    

72. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
    注

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to side

    

    

73. Perform visual inspection of HV battery enclosure
    注

    Check for any dents, scrapes, or other damage

    

74. Release mid aero shield
    注

    4x push clips

    

    

    

75. Remove mid aero shield
    注

    16x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm

    

76. Release front aero shield
    注

    9x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm

    

77. Remove front aero shield
    注

    5x push clips

    

    

    

78. Perform inspection of suspension components
    注

    Check conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

    

    

79. Perform inspection of steering components
    注

    Check steering gear joints and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged

    

    

    

    

    

80. Perform visual inspection of underside of vehicle for any coolant leaks
    注

    Pay special attention to hose connection points

    

    

81. Perform inspection of vehicle underside components front and rear
    注

    Perform inspection of vehicle underside front and rear, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance

    

    

82. Install front aero shield
    注

    5x push clips

    

    

    

83. Secure front aero shield to vehicle
    注

    9x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto front aero shield bolts

    

    

84. Position mid aero shield
    注

    4x push clips

    

    

    

85. Install mid aero shield
    注

    16x bolts, 10mm, 6 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 onto mid aero shield bolts and install fasteners securing mid aero shield to vehicle

    

    

86. Lower vehicle partially and set onto locks
    注

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered, Set vehicle to comfortable working height

    

    

87. Install LH rear wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

    

    

88. Install LH front wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

    

    

89. Install RH rear wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

    

    

90. Install RH front wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

    

    

91. Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground
    注

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

    

    

    

92. Torque LH front wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

    

    

93. Install LH front wheel cap
    注

    Align valve stem with cap

    

    

94. Torque RH front wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm

    

    

95. Install RH front wheel cap

    Align valve stem with cap

    

    

96. Torque RH rear wheel

102. Install frunk access panel

     3x clips, 3x hooks, 1x connector

     

     

103. Install front underhood apron
     注

     7x clips

     

     

104. Install RH underhood apron
     注

     10x clips

     

     

105. Install LH underhood apron
     注

     10x clips

     

     

106. Remove vehicle from lift
     注

     Lower lift arms fully and remove them from under vehicle, Remove air suspension from "Jack Mode"

     

     

107. Place vehicle in service mode
     注

     Via Controls > Software, Touch and hold "Model" for 2 seconds then release, Use screen keyboard to type "service" into dialog box and select OK button

     

     

     

108. Check for active alerts
     注

     Check alert using UI via service mode > active alerts" to "Check alerts using UI via Service Mode > Service Alerts > Active Alerts

     

     

109. Update vehicle firmware if available
     注

     Select the clock on the center display, or go to the Software tab, then select install now to start firmware update. Select Install Now, Tap count down timer until clock runs down to 0, Check the center display and ensure the firmware package is installing

     

     

     

110. Exit Service Mode through UI
     注

     Press and hold the Exit Service Mode button for 3 seconds
