11. Verify operation of multimeter

    Set multimeter to DC voltage, Confirm multimeter is properly measuring voltage by testing MV battery, Touch lightly and do not damage terminals

    

    

12. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Ensure an audible click of locks on both sides is heard before lowering, Vehicle may tilt to the side if both locks are not engaged

    

    

13. Remove rear skid plate

14. Remove all items from pockets and ensure not wearing metal items

    

15. Inspect HV insulating gloves

    Check gloves for damage prior to use, Refer to service document TN-15-92-003, for information on inspecting HV gloves.

    

16. Put on HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves
    참고

    Use HV cut resistant insulated gloves or HV insulating gloves and leather over gloves, HV Insulating gloves must be worn any time a Hioki Tester or Hi-Pot Tester is used, Refer to service document TN-15-92-003 R5 for PPE requirements depending on vehicle configuration.

    

17. Verify no HV - Install amp clamp to RDU HV harness

    Verify meter is zeroed out before performing measurement, Measure single cable. Verify ammeter is installed in correct direction. If current > 0.5A do not proceed with disconnecting HV connector. In this case, start vehicle electrical isolation again to make sure that all was properly shut down. Escalate for assistance as requiredIf current < 0.5A, Ok to disconnect and check voltage at HV plug on the battery side.Release locking tab and rotate the release lever up to disengage the connector, Release harness clip, Do not force the release lever up, Ensure the alignment tabs on the RDU header are not damagedMake sure to wear PPE (HV gloves, safety glasses) when working on high voltage component, Measure B+ to Ground, B- to Ground, B+ to B-, If voltage is greater than 10V, Pack contactors are not open or welded, Stop work and reach out to Service Engineering

67. Remove bolt securing FDU HV harness to the FDU

70. Move the subframe lifting tool underneath the front subframe area

    

71. Connect air supply to subframe lifting tool

73. Position rear support posts onto FDU

    Both FDU supports need to engage the FDU, The left side post is dimpled and fits into a recess on the FDU and the right side post has a teflon block that sits against the FDU, Both posts are threaded and the handle should be turned until the posts are tight

    

74. Remove RH FDU mount bolt

    1x bolt, E18, 85 Nm, Early production vehicles may have 16mm bolt

    

75. Remove LH FDU mount bolt

76. Remove subframe bolts

78. Disconnect air supply from subframe lifting tool

    

79. Remove subframe lifting tool from under vehicle

    

80. Disconnect front brake pipe assembly from LH front jounce hose and LH brake pipe assembly

143. Fill brake bleeder reservoir to full level

     Use only DOT 4 brake fluid

     

144. Install pressure bleeder adapter onto reservoir

     Attach the brake reservoir hose to the brake adapter at this time

     

     

145. Set pressure to 30psi

     Connect power supply to bleeder and turn on the power to set pressure to 30 psi

     

146. Remove bleeding valve covers and install the fluid catching bottle to LH front outer brake caliper bleeding valve before starting the ESP

164. Open the RH rear brake caliper bleeding valve then Click the play button next to PROC_ESP_FRONT-L-REAR-R-BRAKE-BLEED and select "Run" to start the ESP and then close the bleeding valve once the pump stops running

166. Remove the fluid catching bottle, Torque RH rear brake caliper bleeding valve and install cover

169. Remove the fluid catching bottle, Torque LH rear brake caliper bleeding valve and install cover

170. Turn off and remove pressure brake bleeder kit from vehicle

     

     

171. Check brake fluid level and top off reservoir if necessary

     If level is above Max line, remove extra fluid

     

172. Install brake reservoir cap

     

173. Pump brake pedal a few times to ensure pedal feels normal
174. Select "Actions" tab and search for ‘"Stiffness"
175. Select "TEST_BRAKE_X_STIFFNESS-TEST-SERVICE", click "Run", and allow routine to complete

180. Torque RH front wheel nuts

181. Install RH front wheel cap
     참고

     1x cap, 8x clips, Partially secure wheel cap to wheel, While partially installed wheel cover can be rotated to align with tire design, When aligned press inward from center of cap then secure all clips to mounting ring

     

     

     

182. Torque LH front wheel nuts
     참고

     6x nuts, 21mm, 205 Nm, Use star pattern

     

183. Install LH front wheel cap
     참고

     1x cap, 8x clips, Partially secure wheel cap to wheel, While partially installed wheel cover can be rotated to align with tire design, When aligned press inward from center of cap then secure all clips to mounting ring

     

     

     

184. Install coolant reservoir adaptor cap onto coolant bottle assembly

     

     

     

185. Place empty coolant container into front storage area

     If frunk is not installed take caution, CFM fan shroud assembly cannot support a full coolant container, Ensure overflow container is empty, Place fender cover over FEM and front fascia

     

186. Fill container with at least 15L of coolant

     

187. Place filled coolant container onto coolant drain & fill cart

     Do not place container with 15L of coolant on top of CFM fan shroud, Position cart as close as possible to front of vehicle

     

188. Setup coolant refill tool
     참고

     Verify all valves on refill tool are in the closed position, See image for clarity

     

     

189. Install vacuum refill hose to refill cap on coolant bottle
     참고

     Perform push-pull-push test to verify hose is fully installed

     

190. Position overflow hose into empty container

     

191. Place refill hose inside filled coolant container
     참고

     Make sure hose end is fully submerged into coolant

     

192. Connect shop air supply to coolant refill tool
     참고

     If not already done, Verify refill valve is set to off

     

193. Open air inlet valve to draw a vacuum, Once gauge stabilizes, Fully close valve
     참고

     Gauge stabilizes roughly (60-70 cmHg), Vacuum should not drop after the valves are closed

     

     

194. Slowly open the refill valve to allow coolant to be drawn into the system
     참고

     Make sure hose end of refill hose is fully submerged during entire process

     

195. Once the gauge reads zero, close the coolant refill valve

     

     

196. Remove shop air supply to coolant refill tool
     참고

     If not already done, Verify refill valve is set to off

     

197. Remove coolant refill hose from coolant container

     

198. Remove coolant overflow hose from coolant container

     

199. Remove vacuum refill hose from refill cap on coolant bottle

     

200. Remove vacuum refill cap from coolant bottle assembly

     

201. Remove coolant refill tool from vehicle

     Move coolant drain & fill cart away from vehicle

     

     

202. Remove coolant container from inside underhood area

     

203. Access thermal system routines using the UI

     Select quick controls > Service mode > Diagnostics > Thermal, Authorize routines by holding right turn signal, depressing brake pedal for 10 seconds with key on phone dock
204. Select "Start Coolant Air Purge" using the UI
     참고

     Touch time only, wait until coolant pumps stop running (audible noise), Routine Passed will appear, but pumps will run for 10 minutes, If you start next another routine during this time it will fail, Make sure vehicle is not in "Drive", Routine is still running despite the completed message, Speeds can be monitored in garage under PT Thermal tab, Idle speed = ~1500 RPM, Test will vary speeds from 3500-6500 RPM and actuate valves between SERIES and PARALLEL, Putting vehicle into "Drive" will stop this routine, If speeds hover at 7000 RPM, this indicates the pumps are air locked, perform a vacuum fill, Continue to add coolant and purge until the coolant level reaches between the NOM and MAX Lines on the bottle
205. Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary

206. Install coolant bottle cap

     

207. Install frunk assembly

     6x bolts, 10mm, 12 Nm, 2x bolt caps, 2x bumpstops, 1x connector, Install bolt covers to frunk floor, Install washer fluid cap, Install bumpstops by aligning tabs then turning clockwise, Ensure emergency frunk release functions

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

208. Install rear underhood apron

     9x clips, Adjust windshield seal as required

     

     

209. Close powered front trunk

     Via exterior switch or UI

     Lower rack arms fully and remove them from under vehicle, Remove air suspension from "Jack Mode"
