4. Inspect windshield for rock chips and cracks
   注

   No damage in the driver’s viewing area, airbag impact area, forward camera viewing area, or within 50 mm of the edge allowed, No more than 3 cracks or chips to the glass allowed

   

5. Check all emergency release cables and switches
   注

   Front door releases, Trunk release, Use caution with front door releases as door glass will not drop and could damage seals or bright molding

   

   

6. Function check chargeport door (5 cycles)
   注

   5x cycles, Inspect and note functionality full range of motion, touch to open, and indicator light. Look for interference with other components, noises such as creaks, groans and clicks, pauses or incomplete actions

   

7. Open liftgate
   注

   Observe for proper latch operation

44. Perform inspection of under hood area

45. Visually inspect brake fluid level

58. Inspect radiator inlet in front fascia for debris

    Clear debris if necessary

    

59. Remove LH front wheel

63. Install brake rotor run out flex bar onto LH rear knuckle and setup for reading
    注

    Pay attention to the clamp location and the routing of the flex bar, firmly connect the indicator rod to the upper link bolt head, fnsure the indicator rod is properly depressed, allowing travel in both directions without bottoming out and set the measurement to zero

    

    

64. Install brake rotor run out flex bar onto LH rear knuckle and setup for reading
    注

    Pay attention to the clamp location and the routing of the flex bar, firmly connect the indicator rod to the upper link bolt head, fnsure the indicator rod is properly depressed, allowing travel in both directions without bottoming out and set the measurement to zero

    

    

65. Remove brake rotor run out flex bar from LH knuckle assembly

    

66. Install brake rotor run out flex bar onto RH rear knuckle and setup for reading
    注

    Pay attention to the clamp location and the routing of the flex bar, firmly connect the indicator rod to the upper link bolt head, fnsure the indicator rod is properly depressed, allowing travel in both directions without bottoming out and set the measurement to zero

    

    

67. Inspect RH Rear Upper Knuckle Ball Joint play
    注

    Insert medium size prybar between the aft link and the knuckle and push to check, make sure the prybar is pushing the noted area in the middle of the link's side, this will give proper measurement and avoid link rotation. Note the values of the analog indicator, replace RH Rear Upper Knuckle Ball Joint if the play is greater than 1,00mm

    

    

    

68. Remove brake rotor run out flex bar from RH knuckle assembly

    

69. Measure and record LH rear brake pad thickness
    注

    Recommend replacement if 2mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads

    

70. Inspect LH rear brake rotor condition
    注

    Check for excessive rust or wear, Minimum spec 26mm

    

71. Measure and record RH rear brake pad thickness
    注

    Recommend replacement if 2 mm or less, Check both inboard and outboard pads

    

72. Inspect RH rear brake rotor condition
    注

    Check for excessive rust or wear, Minimum spec 26mm

    

73. Measure and record RH front brake pad thickness

74. Inspect RH front brake rotor condition

79. Record tread depth for RH front tire

80. Record tread depth for LH rear tire

81. Record tread depth for RH rear tire

82. Check all four tire pressures manually

83. Raise vehicle fully and lower lift onto locks
    注

    Set vehicle to comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side

    

    

84. Perform inspection of steering components

    Check steering gear joints and electrical connections, Verify components are not bent or damaged

    

    

    

    

    

85. Perform visual inspection of HV battery enclosure

    Check for any dents, scrapes, or other damage

    

86. Remove outer fasteners securing front aero shield
    注

    9x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

87. Remove front aero shield
    注

    2x nuts, 15mm, 5 Nm

    

    

88. Remove rear aero shield
    注

    13x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

89. Perform visual inspection of underside of vehicle for any coolant leaks
    注

    Pay special attention to hose connection points

    

    

90. Perform inspection of vehicle underside components front and rear
    注

    Perform inspection of vehicle underside front and rear, Check for signs of abnormal damage, wear, heavy rust, wiring damage, or impact damage, Pay attention to safety related component and note any items of significance

    

    

91. Perform inspection of suspension components
    注

    Check conditions of ball joints and bushings, etc, Inspect for any loose fasteners, Carefully apply pressure with a pry bar as needed

    

    

92. Inspect all rear lateral and compliance link's rubber bushing
    注

    Look for cracks on the rubber partcompare the location according to the images and follow the guide: Damage is contained to the green zone: Do not replace the part• Damage is in the yellow zone on one side of the bushing: Do not replace the part• Damage is in the yellow zone on both sides of the bushing: Part needs replacement• Damage is in the red zone: Part needs replacement

    

    

93. Install rear aero shield
    注

    13x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Apply Loctite 222 to bolts before installing

    

    

94. Position front aero shield to vehicle and install nuts
    注

    2x nuts, 15mm, 5 Nm

    

    

95. Apply Loctite 222 onto front aero shield bolts and install outer fasteners to front aero shield
    注

    9x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

    

96. Lower vehicle partially
    注

    Raise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered

    

    

97. Install LH rear wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

    

98. Install LH front wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

    

99. Install RH rear wheel
    注

    5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool

    

100. Install RH front wheel

101. Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground

112. Check for active alerts

113. Update vehicle firmware if available

     Select the clock on the center display, or go to the Software tab, then select install now to start firmware update. Select Install Now, Tap count down timer until clock runs down to 0, Check the center display and ensure the firmware package is installing
