1. Inspect the vehicle for abnormal tire wear that might indicate the need for a wheel alignment, and note any findings.
2. Put the vehicle on a 2-post lift.
3. Open all doors and lower all four windows.
4. Move the front seats forward.

7. Disconnect LV power. See LV Battery - Li-lon (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
8. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
9. Perform Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure. See Vehicle HV Disablement Procedure (Test/Adjust).
10. Set the steering wheel straight ahead.
11. Using the steering wheel holder, lock the steering wheel into position.

191. Position and raise support stand to simulate LH front suspension at ride height

     

192. Measure from bottom of fender to center of axle as a check to make sure LH suspension is set close to ride height

     Specification is 423mm, Be wary of lifting vehicle up from the rack while raising pole jack, Take caution

     

193. Torque bolt and nut securing LH strut to LH front lower lateral link

     1x bolt, 21mm, 1x nut, 21mm, 106 Nm, Mark with paint pen

     

     

194. Torque bolts securing LH front lower lateral link to front subframe

     Slide steering column downward to install steering gear assembly, Ensure the intermediate shaft is aligned and fully seated

     

     

208. Install bolt securing steering column to steering gear assembly

     1x bolt, 13mm, 18 Nm, Install new bolt

     

209. Install the underhood storage unit. See #GUID-4FBD5199-27DF-4D9D-A193-1901CE127862.
210. Perform a coolant system vacuum refill. See Cooling System - Vacuum Refill (Test/Adjust).
211. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
212. Connect first responder loop and LV battery
