Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Diffuser - Rear Fascia (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Beam - Cross Car (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Subframe Assembly - Front (Dual Motor) (Remove and Install).
  4. Remove the HV Battery (AWD) (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Carpet - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the HVAC Assembly (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Brake Lines - LH Sill (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Brake Lines - 4 Tube Bundle - ABS to Wheels (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Brake Lines - Master Cylinder to ABS (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the Brake Lines - Master Cylinder to ABS (Dual Motor) (RHD) (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the Brake Pedal (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  14. Remove the Cover - Shock Tower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  15. Remove the Radiator (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  16. Remove the Supermanifold (Remove and Replace).
  17. Remove the ABS Modulator (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  18. Remove the Crush Can - Front Subframe - LH (Remove and Replace).
  19. Remove the Crush Can - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  20. Remove the Shotgun Outer.
  21. Remove the Dash Crossmember.
  22. Remove the Longitudinal Upper.
  23. Remove the original component.

    When drilling out spot welds, use a drill bit that creates a hole correctly sized for the fastener that will replace the spot weld.
  24. Prepare for installation.

  25. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  26. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts to 22 Nm.
  27. Install the Shotgun Outer.
  28. Install the fasteners as indicated.

  29. Install the Dash Crossmember.
  30. Install the Longitudinal Upper.
  31. Install the Fender and Lamp Support Bracket.
  32. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  33. Install the Crush Can - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  34. Install the Crush Can - Front Subframe - LH (Remove and Replace).
  35. Install the ABS Modulator (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  36. Install the Supermanifold (Remove and Replace).
  37. Install the Radiator (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  38. Install the Cover - Shock Tower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  39. Install the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  40. Install the Brake Pedal (Remove and Replace).
  41. Install the Brake Lines - Master Cylinder to ABS (Dual Motor) (RHD) (Remove and Replace).
  42. Install the Brake Lines - Master Cylinder to ABS (Remove and Replace).
  43. Install the Brake Lines - 4 Tube Bundle - ABS to Wheels (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  44. Install the Brake Lines - LH Sill (Remove and Replace).
  45. Install the HVAC Assembly (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  46. Install the Carpet - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  47. Install the Carpet - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  48. Install the HV Battery (AWD) (Remove and Install).
  49. Install the Subframe Assembly - Front (Dual Motor) (Remove and Install).
  50. Install the Beam - Cross Car (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
