Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Reservoir - Windshield Washer (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Hinge - Hood - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Damper Assembly - Front - LH (RWD) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Hood (Remove and Install).
  6. Remove the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  7. Remove the Cover - Rocker Panel - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the A/C Compressor and Supermanifold (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Cover - Shock Tower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Bracket - 12V Battery (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the Front Upper Control Arm (FUCA) Mount - LH (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the Control Arm - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the Knuckle - Suspension - Front - LH (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  14. Remove the ABS Modulator (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  15. Remove the Shotgun Outer.
  16. Remove the original component.

  17. Prepare for installation.

  18. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  19. Install the new component or components.

    Torque the bolts to 22 Nm.
  20. Install the Shotgun Outer.
  21. Install the fasteners as indicated.

  23. Install the ABS Modulator (Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace).
  24. Install the Knuckle - Suspension - Front - LH (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  25. Install the Control Arm - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  26. Install the Front Upper Control Arm (FUCA) Mount - LH (Remove and Replace).
  27. Install the Bracket - 12V Battery (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  28. Install the Cover - Shock Tower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  29. Install the A/C Compressor and Supermanifold (Remove and Replace).
  30. Install the Cover - Rocker Panel - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  31. Install the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  32. Install the Hood (Remove and Install).
  33. Install the Panel - Aero Shield - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  34. Install the Damper Assembly - Front - LH (RWD) (Remove and Replace).
  35. Install the Hinge - Hood - LH (Remove and Replace).
  36. Install the Reservoir - Windshield Washer (Remove and Replace).
