Repair Information
- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- Properly mount the vehicle on a frame bench when performing this procedure.

Repair Procedure

Remove the A-Pillar Outer Reinforcement (Section).

Remove the original component.

Factory Spot Welds

Prepare for installation.
NoteFor each rivet being installed through the Sill Outer, drill a 6.7 mm hole through both the Sill Outer and the top part of the Sill Insert. These holes provide clearance for the rivets used in the Sill Outer section.

NoteThe center of all rivets in the bottom row of structural rivets must be at the indicated height from the lower edge of the new component, as shown below.- A = 15 mm

Installation Spot Welds
- Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
- Install the new component or components.

Perform resistance spot
welding.
