Repair Information
- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- Properly mount the vehicle on a frame bench when performing this procedure.

Repair Procedure

Cut the floor panel at the
indicated locations, and bend it back to create a flap (shown in red) large
enough to allow removal of the spot weld (under the flap).

Remove
the outer portion of the original component.

Remove the inner
portion of the original component.

Prepare for installation.

Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
NoteApply a small amount of structural adhesive to the upper side of the floor panel flap created earlier.
- Bend the floor panel flap (shown in red) to its original location.

Install the new component or components.
NoteReturn the floor panel flap (shown in red) to its original location before installing the Structural Bulb rivet circled in red.

Perform resistance spot
welding.
