Repair Procedure

  1. Door Assembly - Charge Port (EMEA) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Busbars - Charge Port to HV Battery (3-Phase) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Airbag - Curtain - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Seatbelt - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Carpet - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  6. Cover - Rocker Panel - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Carpet - Rear Trunk (1-Piece) (Remove and Replace).
  10. Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Glass - Body - Rear Quarter - LH (Remove and Install).
  12. Glass - Backlight (Heat Pump) (Remove and Install).
  13. Striker - Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  14. Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  15. Trunk (Remove and Install).
  16. Bracket - Rear - Center (Remove and Replace).
  17. Remove the Rear Quarter Inner (Panel).
  18. Remove the Parcel Shelf Rear Extension.
  19. Remove the original component.

    When drilling out spot welds, use a drill bit that creates a hole correctly sized for the fastener that will replace the spot weld.
  20. Prepare for installation.
  21. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  22. Install the new component or components.

    Bolt, Torx-head torque to 16 Nm.

  23. Install the Rear Quarter Inner (Panel).
  24. Install the Parcel Shelf Rear Extension.
  25. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  26. Bracket - Rear - Center (Remove and Replace).
  27. Trunk (Remove and Install).
  28. Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Install).
  29. Striker - Door - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  30. Glass - Backlight (Heat Pump) (Remove and Install).
  31. Glass - Body - Rear Quarter - LH (Remove and Install).
  32. Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  33. Carpet - Rear Trunk (1-Piece) (Remove and Replace).
  34. Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  35. Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  36. Cover - Rocker Panel - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  37. Carpet - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  38. Seatbelt - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
