Repair Information

This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the original component.

Note
This repair procedure includes information for both the left hand (LH) and right hand (RH) battery support brackets. Remove only the bracket or brackets to be replaced.

Factory Spot Weld
Prepare for installation.

Structural Bulb Rivet, 6.5 mm
Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
