- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure
- Remove the Mirror - Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the Handle - Exterior Release - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the Window Regulator (Recalibrate).
- Remove the Door - Front - LH (Remove and Install).

Separate the hemmed flange.
- Prepare for installation.

Apply anti-flutter foam and
butyl patches as needed to match the original configuration, and use an
approved structural adhesive to secure the hemmed flange.
NoteRefer to Approved Chemicals for a list of approved foam products and structural adhesives.
- Install the new component or components.
- Fold over the hemmed flange.
- Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
- Install the Door - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
- Install the Window Regulator (Recalibrate).
- Install the Handle - Exterior Release - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the Mirror - Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
