Third Row Seat Crossmember (Lower) Add Studs

Correction code: 10101822602 NOTE: Unless explicitly stated in the procedure, the above correction code includes all Collision Repair and Service repair work required to perform this procedure, including the linked Collision Repair procedures and linked Service procedures. Do not stack Collision Repair correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. Depending on the damage to the vehicle, additional repairs may be required.

Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.
This procedure is performed without remmoving the Third Row Seat Crossmember (Lower) from the vehicle.

Repair Procedure

Remove the Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
Remove the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
Create 6 mm. holes in the indicated locations.
or Drill through factory spot welds
Note
When drilling out spot welds, use a drill bit that creates a hole correctly sized for the fastener that will replace the spot weld.
- A = 126 mm.
- B = 162 mm.
Prepare for installation.
or Rivet Stud
Install the new component or components.
Apply seam sealer to the bottom portion of the Rivstuds (on both sides of the panel in which the Rivstuds are installed) as shown.

Note
A clip is attached to the rivstud on the outside of the Third Row Seat Crossmember (Lower) panel. Apply a layer of seam sealer 5 mm. in thickness to the rivstud in this location.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
Install the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
Install the Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
