Rear Wheelhouse Reinforcement

Do not stack Collision Repair correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. Depending on the damage to the vehicle, additional repairs may be required.

12 Structural Bulb Rivet, 6.5 mm
When ordering parts, refer to the Parts Catalog and enter the VIN of the vehicle being repaired to find the correct parts (and the part numbers) for the vehicle. Alternatively, use the search function in the Parts Catalog to find a specific part for the vehicle.

Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Trim - Package Tray (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Glass - Body - Rear Quarter - LH (Remove and Install).
  3. Remove the Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the C-Pillar Reinforcement.
  8. Remove the original component.

  9. Remove the foam dam from the original Rear Wheelhouse Reinforcement.

    Note
    Save the foam dam for installation in a later step.
  10. Prepare for installation.

    Structural Bulb Rivet, 6.5 mm

  11. Reinstall the foam dam that was removed in an earlier step.
  12. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  13. Install the new component or components.
  14. Install the new C-Pillar Reinforcement.
  15. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  16. Install the Seat Back - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  17. Install the Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  18. Install the Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  19. Install the Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  20. Install the Glass - Body - Rear Quarter - LH (Remove and Install).
  21. Install the Trim - Package Tray (Remove and Replace).
