Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
Properly mount the vehicle on a frame bench when performing this procedure.

Repair Procedure

Remove the original component.
or Bolts, hex-head
or Screws, M5-0.8X16MM
Prepare for installation.

or Screws, M5-0.8X16MM
Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Torque the fasteners as follows:
- Screws, M5-0.8X16MM: Tesla part number 1004379-00-B: 6 Nm.
- Bolts, BOLT HF M8x30 PC109 ADH MAT: Tesla part number 1008722-00-A: 30 Nm.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
