Do not stack Collision Repair correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. Depending on the damage to the vehicle, additional repairs may be required.

Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Brightwork - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Applique - Front Quarter - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Hood Assembly (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the Hinge - Door - Front - Lower - LH (Remove & Replace).
  6. Remove the Hinge - Door - Front - Upper - LH (Remove & Replace).
  7. Remove the Carpet - 1st Row (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Magnet - A-Pillar - Sun Visor Bezel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Seal - Primary - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the Seal - Primary - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the Applique - Roof - Front (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  14. Remove the Body Side Outer.
  15. Remove the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  16. Remove the necessary portion of the Body Side Outer to expose the underlying component being replaced.
  17. Remove the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  18. Remove the Hinge Pillar Inner.
  19. Remove the original component.

  20. Prepare for installation.
    or SPRs, 5x6 H4
    • A = 7 mm.
    • B = 3 mm.
    • C = 6 mm.
    • D = 9 mm.
    • E = 7 mm.
    Note
    The following Tesla SPR die is required to install this SPR: FM 090 2120.

  21. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  22. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolt to 10 Nm.
  23. Install the Hinge Pillar Inner.
  24. Install the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  25. Install the portion of the Body Side Outer that was removed to expose the component being replaced.
  26. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  27. Install the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  28. Install the Body Side Outer.
  29. Install the Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  30. Install the Applique - Roof - Front (Remove and Replace).
  31. Install the Seal - Primary - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  32. Install the Seal - Primary - Rear Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  33. Install the Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  34. Install the Magnet - A-Pillar - Sun Visor Bezel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  35. Install the Carpet - 1st Row (Remove and Replace).
  36. Install the Hinge - Door - Front - Upper - LH (Remove & Replace).
  37. Install the Hinge - Door - Front - Lower - LH (Remove & Replace).
  38. Install the Hood Assembly (Remove and Install).
  39. Install the Applique - Front Quarter - LH (Remove and Replace).
  40. Install the Brightwork - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  41. Install the Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
