Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Headlight Assembly - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Drive Unit - Front (2nd Generation) (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the Battery Coolant Pump 1 (1st Generation) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Compressor - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the Air Spring Module - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Compressor - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Reservoir Assembly - Windshield Washer (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Brake Lines - 4 Tube Bundle - ABS to Wheels (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the Hood Assembly (Remove and Install).
  12. Remove the Hinge - Hood - LH (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the Front Shock Tower.
  14. Remove the original component.

  15. Prepare for installation.

  16. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  17. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts to 50 Nm.
  18. Install the Front Shock Tower.
  19. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  20. Install the Hinge - Hood - LH (Remove and Replace).
  21. Install the Hood Assembly (Remove and Install).
  22. Install the Brake Lines - 4 Tube Bundle - ABS to Wheels (Remove and Replace).
  23. Install the Reservoir Assembly - Windshield Washer (Remove and Replace).
  24. Install the Compressor - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace).
  25. Install the Air Spring Module - Front - RH (Remove and Replace).
  26. Install the Compressor - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace).
  27. Install the Battery Coolant Pump 1 (1st Generation) (Remove and Replace).
  28. Install the Drive Unit - Front (2nd Generation) (Remove and Install).
  29. Install the Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  30. Install the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  31. Install the Headlight Assembly - LH (Remove and Replace).
