Fixed Glass Installation Preparation

Explains how to prepare for fixed glass panel installation.

Fixed glass includes windshields, roof glass panels, quarter glass panels, and any other non-moving glass panels. Before installing a new glass panel or re-installing a previously-removed fixed glass panel, both the vehicle and the glass panel must be properly prepared. Special care must be taken to prepare the vehicle to receive a replacement glass panel (either a new component or a reused component).
