Dimensional Specifications
Lists the dimensions between known points on the vehicle for use in diagnosing vehicle damage.
Dimensional measurements are used as an aid for diagnosing vehicle damage and determining if structural repairs might be necessary to return the vehicle to specification.
Note
All measurements provided in this
document are for reference only.
When taking measurements:
- All measurements are in millimeters.
- All marks, holes, slots, and fasteners are measured center-to-center.
- All dimensions are symmetrical unless otherwise specified.
- Point-to-point measurements are duplicated with tram bar pointers set at equal lengths.
- Always calibrate the tracking gauge before measuring or after adjusting the pointer height.
- Allow +/- 3 mm. tolerance for all measurements.
Note
If any measurement is outside specifications, mount the vehicle on a frame
bench and measure again. If the measurement is still outside of
specifications, assess the damage and create a repair estimate.
