Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the Bumper Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).
Remove the Insulator - Wheelhouse - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Remove the Absorber - Wheelhouse - Rear - RH (Remove & Replace).
Remove the Racetrack Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Remove the Racetrack Trim - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
Remove the Bracket - C-Pillar - Lower Zone - LH (Remove and Replace).
Remove the MXP2 BODY - Bumper and Fascia - Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Wing Bracket - LH (RR).
Remove the MXP2 BODY - Bumper and Fascia - Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia Center Bracket (RR).
Remove the MXP2 THERMAL MANAGEMENT - Cabin HVAC - Passenger Ducting and Vents - Air Extractor Assembly Mid - LH (RR).
Remove the MXP2 THERMAL MANAGEMENT - Cabin HVAC - Passenger Ducting and Vents - Air Extractor Assembly Mid - LH (RR).
Remove the Garnish - Fender - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Remove the Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Remove the original component.

or Drill through factory spot welds
Note
When drilling out spot welds, use a drill bit that creates a hole correctly sized for the fastener that will replace the spot weld.
Prepare for installation.

Note
A red X indicates a location where a factory-installed fastener is not being replaced. Secure this location using structural adhesive only.

Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Fill the gap between the Quarter Outer panel and the Quarter Outer Lower panel (indicated in red) with urethane.
Once the urethane has cured, use seam sealer to completely fill the seam.
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
Install the Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Install the Garnish - Fender - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Install the MXP2 THERMAL MANAGEMENT - Cabin HVAC - Passenger Ducting and Vents - Air Extractor Assembly Mid - LH (RR).
Install the MXP2 THERMAL MANAGEMENT - Cabin HVAC - Passenger Ducting and Vents - Air Extractor Assembly Mid - LH (RR).
Install the MXP2 BODY - Bumper and Fascia - Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia Center Bracket (RR).
Install the MXP2 BODY - Bumper and Fascia - Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Wing Bracket - LH (RR).
Install the Bracket - C-Pillar - Lower Zone - LH (Remove and Replace).
Install the Racetrack Trim - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
Install the Racetrack Trim - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Install the Absorber - Wheelhouse - Rear - RH (Remove & Replace).
Install the Insulator - Wheelhouse - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
Install the Bumper Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).
