Do not stack Collision Repair correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. Depending on the damage to the vehicle, additional repairs may be required.

Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Insulator - Wheelhouse - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Absorber - Wheelhouse - Rear - RH (Remove & Replace).
  3. Remove the Knuckle - Suspension - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Control Arm Assembly - Rear - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Integral Link - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Stabilizer Bar - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the Link - Suspension - Rear - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Adaptive Air Spring Module - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Brake Lines - 2 Tube Bundle - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Trim - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the Seat Assembly - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the original component.

  13. Prepare for installation.
    Note
    A red X indicates a location where a factory-installed fastener is not being replaced. Secure this location using structural adhesive only.

  14. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  15. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts and nuts to 25 Nm.
    Note
    Apply heavy-duty threadlocker to the threads of the new M8-1.25x16 bolts.
  16. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  17. Install the Seat Assembly - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace).
  18. Install the Trim - Rear Trunk - Side - LH (Remove and Replace).
  19. Install the Brake Lines - 2 Tube Bundle - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  20. Install the Adaptive Air Spring Module - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  21. Install the Link - Suspension - Rear - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  22. Install the Stabilizer Bar - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  23. Install the Integral Link - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  24. Install the Control Arm Assembly - Rear - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
  25. Install the Knuckle - Suspension - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  26. Install the Absorber - Wheelhouse - Rear - RH (Remove & Replace).
  27. Install the Insulator - Wheelhouse - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
