Do not stack Collision Repair correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. Depending on the damage to the vehicle, additional repairs may be required.

Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Applique - Front Quarter - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Applique - Roof - Front (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Brightwork - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Carrier - Rocker Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Door Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  7. Remove the Striker - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Hinge - Door - Front - Lower - LH (Remove & Replace).
  9. Remove the Hinge - Door - Front - Upper - LH (Remove & Replace).
  10. Remove the Hood Assembly (Remove and Install).
  11. Remove the Body Side Outer.
  12. Remove the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  13. Remove the necessary portion of the Body Side Outer to expose the underlying component being replaced.
  14. Remove the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  15. Remove the original component.

    Cut Line

    Reference Line/Point

    • A = 85 mm.
    • B = 175 mm.
    • C = 27 mm.
    • D = 112 mm.
  16. Remove the Rivnut from the Hinge Pillar Reinforcement service part.
  17. Drill a 20 mm. hole in the Hinge Pillar Reinforcement service part in the indicated location.

    Cut Line

    Reference Line/Point

    • E = 20 mm.
    • F = 185 mm.
  18. Prepare for installation.

  19. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  20. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts to 10 Nm.
  21. Install the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  22. Install the portion of the Body Side Outer that was removed to expose the component being replaced.
  23. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  24. Install the A-Pillar Reinforcement Assembly.
  25. Install the Body Side Outer.
  26. Install the Hood Assembly (Remove and Install).
  27. Install the Hinge - Door - Front - Upper - LH (Remove & Replace).
  28. Install the Hinge - Door - Front - Lower - LH (Remove & Replace).
  29. Install the Striker - Door - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  30. Install the Door Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  31. Install the Carrier - Rocker Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  32. Install the Brightwork - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  33. Install the Applique - Roof - Front (Remove and Replace).
  34. Install the Applique - Front Quarter - LH (Remove and Replace).
  35. Install the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
