Remove

  1. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the bolt that attaches the fresh intake duct to the strut tower brace.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Gently release the clips (x2) and pin that attach the fresh intake duct to the vehicle, and then remove the duct from the vehicle.
  4. Release the fresh intake duct from the studs (x2) on the bulkhead, and then remove the duct from the vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
