Remove

  1. Open the LH doors and lower the LH windows.
  2. Move the driver seat to its foremost position.
  3. Fold the LH rear passenger seat back down.
  4. Open the rear liftgate.
  5. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  6. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  7. Remove the rear trunk load floor. See .
  8. Remove the front trunk load floor. See .
  9. Remove the trunk sill trim. See .
  10. Remove the LH load floor bracket. See .
  11. Remove the LH trunk pocket bracket. See .
  12. Remove the LH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the LH upper C-pillar trim. See #GUID-CA7062E0-67B6-4F6E-8E04-41149EBDB913.
  14. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 2nd row LH lower seat belt anchor to the body.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  15. Release the clips (x2) that attach the bezel to the LH rear upper C-pillar trim, and then slide the bezel off the seat belt.
  16. Guide the seat belt through the LH rear upper C-pillar trim, and the remove the trim from the vehicle.
  17. Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the electrical connector from the 2nd row LH seat belt retractor.
  18. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 2nd row LH seat belt retractor to the body, and then remove the retractor from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Install

  1. Install the 2nd row LH seat belt retractor to the body, and then install a new bolt to attach the retractor to the body.
    35 Nm (25.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the 2nd row LH seat belt retractor, and then engage the connector lock.
  3. Install the bezel onto the seat belt, and then attach the clips (x2) to the LH rear upper C-pillar trim.
  4. Install a new bolt that attaches the 2nd row LH lower seat belt anchor to the body.
    35 Nm (25.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 15 mm socket
  5. Install the LH upper C-pillar trim. See #GUID-CA7062E0-67B6-4F6E-8E04-41149EBDB913.
  6. Install the LH trunk side trim. See Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the LH trunk pocket bracket. See .
  8. Install the LH load floor bracket. See .
  9. Install the trunk sill trim. See .
  10. Install the front trunk load floor. See .
  11. Install the rear trunk load floor. See .
  12. Connect 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  13. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  14. Move the driver seat to its original position.
  15. Close the LH front door and raise the LH front window.
  16. Fold the LH rear passenger seat back to its original position.
  17. Close the LH rear door and raise the LH rear window.
  18. Close the rear liftgate.
