Retirar

  1. Inspeccione el vehículo en busca de un desgaste anormal de los neumáticos que pueda indicar la necesidad de alinear las ruedas. Anote los resultados.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. See .
  3. Remove the front wheels. See Conjunto de rueda (Desinstalación e instalación).
  4. Remove the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove and discard the nut that attaches the LH front lower compliance link to the knuckle.
    Tip
    Se recomienda utilizar las siguientes herramientas:
    • VASO, RESISTENTE, CUADRADILLO DE 3/4", PROFUNDO, 22 MM
  6. Remove the bolt and nut that attach the LH front lower compliance link to the front subframe, and then remove the link from the vehicle.
    Tip
    Se recomienda utilizar las siguientes herramientas:
    • Destornillador de impacto/carraca sin cable
    • Vaso de 21 mm de cuello largo
    • Llave de carraca/dinamométrica
  7. Repeat step 5 and step 6 for the RH side of the vehicle.

Sustituir

  1. With assistance, position the LH front lower compliance link to the front subframe, and then hand-tighten the bolt and nut that attach the LH front lower compliance link to the front subframe.
    Note
    Torque at a later step.
  2. Hand-tighten a new nut that attaches the LH front lower compliance link to the knuckle.

    Torque at a later step.
  3. Torque the bolt and nut that attach the LH front lower compliance link to the front subframe.
    115 Nm (84.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip

  4. Torque the nut that attaches the LH front lower compliance link to the knuckle.
    180 Nm (132.7 lbs-ft)

  5. Repeat step 1 to 4 for the RH side of the vehicle.
  6. Install the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  7. Install the front wheels. See Conjunto de rueda (Desinstalación e instalación).
