Remove

  1. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See #GUID-E1DDEA4B-6FBC-438D-997F-B3BD26910740.
  2. Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See #GUID-2B48046D-F15C-4E02-B2C9-82D80BB25389.
  3. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - Lower - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH lower c-pillar trim. See .
  5. Release the clips that attach the LH upper B-pillar trim to the vehicle, and then set the trim aside.

    Note
    Pull the bottom of the LH upper B-pillar trim towards the inside of the vehicle to release the bottom clips, and then pull the top of the trim to release the remaining upper clips.
  6. Release the lower portion of the LH front door seal.
  7. Release the clips (x3) that attach the LH front door harness guide to the vehicle, and then release the harness guide datum from the lower B-Pillar trim.

    Performing this step will allow for later removal of the lower B-Pillar trim.
  8. Release the clips that attach the LH lower B-pillar trim to the body, and remove the trim from the vehicle.

    Note
    Remove any remaining LH lower B-pillar trim clips from the LH B-pillar, and if the LH lower B-pillar trim is to be later installed, remove all clips from the trim.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  • If reusing the same LH lower B-pillar trim, install new clips onto the trim.
  • Align the LH lower B-pillar trim bottom guide tab with the slot, engage the bottom clips, and then work upward to engage the remaining clips.
  • Make sure that the door seal overlaps the LH lower B-pillar trim.
