Seam Sealer Locations

Shows locations where seam sealer was applied when the vehicle was built, and where seam sealer should be applied when repairing the vehicle.

In the following images, two colors are used to indicate seam sealer:
topSeam sealer applied when the vehicle was built (applied at the factory).
Seam sealer that must be applied in the repair area as a part of the repair procedure.

Note
When applying seam sealer in any area between the HV battery pack and the floor, do not apply a layer of seam sealer more than 2 mm thick. Make sure that the seam sealer does not put pressure on either the top of the HV battery pack or on any floor panel.

Note
Do not apply seam sealer in a way that will cause issues with the operation of a closure component (door, hood, trunk, or liftgate) or with the fitment of any other component that may be attached in the repair area (headlight, tail light, roof glass).
