Repair Information

Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Note

There may be minor variations in the appearance of the parts in the repair area due to different vehicle build dates. No changes to the repair procedure are necessary. If changes to the repair procedure are needed due to variations in the parts, those changes will be specified in the relevant procedure steps.

Repair Procedure

Remove the Wheelhouse Outer (Complete).
Remove the original component.
or Factory Spot Welds
or Factory SPRs

or Factory Structural Rivets
Prepare for installation.

or High Strength Structural Rivets, 6.5 mm

or Structural Bulb Rivets, 6.5 mm

or Flow Form Rivets, S18
Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
Install the new component or components.
Install the Wheelhouse Outer (Complete).
Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
