拆卸

  1. Set up the A/C machine.
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit. See .
  3. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See .
  4. On the touchscreen, touch Thermal > Refrigerant System > Start Thermal Fill Drain (Coolant & Refrigerant) > Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  5. Disconnect the 12V/LV power. See 12V/低压电源（断开和连接）.
  6. Remove the 2nd row seat cushion. See 座椅座垫 - 下部 - 第二排（拆卸和更换）.
  7. Perform vehicle HV disablement procedure. See 车辆高压禁用程序.
  8. Remove the front aero shield panel. See 面板 - 流线型护板 - 前（拆卸和更换）.
  9. Position a fluid catcher underneath front of vehicle.
  10. Recover the refrigerant from the vehicle. See 空调制冷剂（回收和重新加注）.
  11. Remove the fresh intake duct. See .
  12. Remove the 12V/LV battery. See .
  13. Remove the coolant bottle cap.
  14. Disconnect the powertrain bypass hose from the Supermanifold.
  15. Disconnect radiator outlet hose from Supermanifold.
  16. Disconnect radiator inlet hose from Supermanifold.
  17. Install three male plugs into the coolant ports at the front of the Supermanifold.
  18. Disconnect the sensor for the chiller to battery hose.
  19. Disconnect the sensor for the PT supply hose.
  20. Disconnect the chiller to battery hose from the supermanifold.
  21. Disconnect the powertrain supply hose from the supermanifold.
  22. Disconnect the HV battery return hose from the Supermanifold.
  23. Install three male plugs into the coolant ports at the rear of the Supermanifold.
  24. Disconnect the thermal sub-harness from the front controller.
  25. Remove the clip that attaches the thermal sub assembly harness to the front harness guide cover.
  26. Remove the retaining clip that attaches the A/C compressor logic harness to A/C compressor HV harness bracket.
  27. Disconnect the A/C compressor logic connector.
  28. Remove the desiccant bag from the supermanifold to determine the amount of oil that must be added later in this procedure. See .
  29. Measure the refrigerant oil level inside the accumulator.

    Level will vary per vehicle. Do not rely on picture. Keep steel ruler vertical during measurement. Record measurement in millimeters.
  30. Convert the accumulator oil level measurement to grams.

    Multiply measurement by 5.6 and add 15. Record measurement in grams.
  31. Calculate the total oil loss from A/C recovery, desiccant bag, and accumulator.

    Add all measurements and record total in grams. Measurement will be used for oil injection at a later step.
  32. Remove the nut that attaches the low side of the manifold to compressor pipe and move the low side pipe out of the way.
  33. Remove the nut that attaches the high side of the manifold to compressor pipe and move the high side pipe out of the way.
  34. Remove the bolt that attaches the supermanifold to compressor A/C line assembly.
  35. Remove the supermanifold to compressor A/C line assembly from the supermanifold and remove it from the vehicle.
  36. Loosen the nut that attaches the supermanifold to the HVAC A/C line assembly.

    Loosen the nut but do not remove it. Removal is done at a later step.
  37. Remove the bolts (x2) that attaches the supermanifold to the HVAC A/C line assembly to HVAC assembly.
  38. Remove the clips (x2) that attaches the coolant hose to the A/C compressor bracket.
  39. Remove the bolt that attaches the A/C compressor HV harness bracket to the A/C compressor.
  40. Remove the bolt that attaches the A/C compressor ground strap.
  41. Remove the clip that attaches the coolant hose to the A/C compressor bracket.
  42. Disconnect the HV harness connector from the A/C compressor.

    Move black locking tab away form the A/C compressor (position 1), then using a 45 degree pick, push down on position 2 of the locking connector while prying up on position 3 and disconnect.
  43. Remove the A/C compressor HV harness from the A/C compressor and put it aside.

    Move A/C compressor HV harness bracket toward the front of the vehicle, lift the bracket up to clear the upper bracket mount, and then carefully set the harness and bracket aside.
  44. Remove the retaining clips (x4) that attach the A/C compressor HV harness to the shock tower support brace.

    Pull upward on clip to assist with removal, do not pull on HV cable.
  45. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the shock tower brace to the LH shock tower.
  46. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the RH side of shock tower brace to the shock tower.
  47. Remove the shock tower brace together with the supermanifold and compressor.

    2 technicians are required for this step. Mind the connectors and A/C lines, slowly lift the brace, and then put it on a cardboard pad.
  48. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the supermanifold to the shock tower beam, and then remove the supermanifold.
  49. Remove the nut that attaches the supermanifold to the HVAC A/C line assembly to supermanifold, and then remove the supermanifold to HVAC A/C line assembly.

  1. Document the old and new part numbers and serial numbers for the supermanifold.

    The label is located in front of the accumulator. Document part numbers and serial numbers in the repair order.

    Determine the part number of the equipped supermanifold. If replacing a -A to -E (v1.0) with a -F (v1.1) supermanifold, then a manifold configuration change and replacement of the supermanifold to HVAC A/C line (A/C penta line) will also be required.
  2. Position the supermanifold assembly to the brace and attach it with the two bolts (toque 31 Nm.

  3. Replace the seal washers (x5) on the supermanifold to HVAC A/C line assembly on supermanifold side.

    Lubricate the new seal washers with the appropriate A/C oil. See for A/C oil specifications.

    If replacing a -A to -E (v1.0) with a -F (v1.1) supermanifold, replacement of the supermanifold to HVAC A/C line (A/C penta line) is required.
  4. Replace the seal washers (x5) on the supermanifold to HVAC A/C line assembly at the HVAC side.

  5. Install the nut that attaches the supermanifold to HVAC A/C line assembly to the supermanifold (torque 36 Nm).
  6. Torque the nut that attaches the supermanifold to the HVAC A/C line assembly.
    36 Nm (26.5 lbs-ft)
  7. Install the shock tower brace to the vehicle.
  8. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the shock tower brace to LH shock tower.

  10. Install the bolts that attach the supermanifold to HVAC A/C line assembly to the HVAC assembly (torque 28 Nm).
  11. Install the retaining clips (x4) that attach the A/C compressor HV harness to the shock tower brace.
  12. Position the A/C compressor HV harness onto the A/C compressor.
  13. Connect the HV harness connector to the A/C compressor.

    1x locking electrical connector, 3 stage locking connector. After fully seating the connector onto the A/C compressor, engage the black locking tab by pushing it towards the A/C compressor. Perform a push-pull-push test to ensure proper seating.
  14. Install the bolt (torque 9 Nm) that attaches the A/C compressor HV harness bracket to the A/C compressor.
  15. Install the clip that attaches the coolant hose to the A/C compressor bracket.
  16. Install the bolt (torque 7 Nm) that attaches the A/C compressor ground strap.
  17. Install the retaining clip that attaches the A/C compressor logic harness to the A/C compressor HV harness bracket.
  18. Connect the A/C compressor logic connector.
  19. Install the radiator inlet hose to supermanifold.

    Perform a push-pull-push test to make sure that the hose is fully seated.
  20. Install the radiator outlet hose to the supermanifold.

  22. Install the clip that attaches the thermal sub assembly harness to the front harness guide cover.
  23. Connect the thermal sub-harness to the front controller module.

  29. Install new seal washers (x2) for the supermanifold to compressor A/C line assembly at the supermanifold side.

  33. Install the nut that attaches the supermanifold to compressor discharge line to the compressor (torque 22 Nm).
  34. Install the nut that attaches the supermanifold to compressor suction line to the compressor (torque 22 Nm).
  35. Install the clips (x2) that attach the coolant hoses to the A/C compressor bracket.
  36. Install the 12V/LV battery into the vehicle. See .

  38. On the touchscreen, touch Thermal > Refrigerant System > Start Thermal Fill Drain (Coolant & Refrigerant) > Run, and close once the routine is passed.
  39. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/低压电源（断开和连接）
  40. Perform a coolant vacuum refill. See 冷却系统（真空再加注）.
  41. Install the front aero shield panel. See 面板 - 流线型护板 - 前（拆卸和更换）.
  42. Perform the vacuum leak test and refill A/C refrigerant. See 空调制冷剂（回收和重新加注）.
  43. Connect 12V power. See 12V/低压电源（断开和连接）
  44. Reinstall the vehicle software. See .
  45. Put the vehicle in Service Model Plus. See .
  46. On the touchscreen, touch Thermal > Stop Thermal Fill Drain > Run, and close once the routine is passed.
  47. Tap Vehicle Configurations > coolantPumpType to inspect the current coolant pump configuration. If the configuration is not DUAL_MIX, change it to DUAL_MIX.
  48. Tap Vehicle Configurations > superManifoldType to inspect the current supermanifold configuration. If the configuration is not TYPE1, change it to TYPE1.
  49. Tap Coolant System > Run Coolant Pumps Identification > Run, and close once the routine is passed.
  50. Tap Thermal > Sensors and Valves > Run Heat Pump Commissioning > Run, and close once the routine is passed.
  51. Tap Coolant System > Coolant Purge > Run, and close once the routine is passed.
  52. Inspect the coolant level and make sure the fluid level is at the Max line.
  53. On the touchscreen, touch Thermal > Actions > Test Thermal Performance > Run, and close once the routine is passed.
  54. Tap Thermal > Actions > Test HVAC Performance > Run, and close once the routine is passed.
  55. On the touchscreen, press and hold the Exit Service Mode button to exit Service Mode Plus.
