When ordering parts, refer to the Parts Catalog and enter the VIN of the vehicle being repaired to find the correct parts (and the part numbers) for the vehicle. Alternatively, use the search function in the Parts Catalog to find a specific part for the vehicle.

Repair Procedure

  1. 拆下 A 柱至前排座位加固件
  2. 拆下车身侧外件总成的必要部分,以便露出下方所要更换的组件。
  3. 从新铰链柱总成上拆下 A 柱至前排座位加固件。

    or Factory Spot Welds

  4. Cut the original component at the indicated locations.
    Cut Line
    • A = 80 mm
  5. Remove the original component.

  6. Remove any remaining adhesive from the mating surfaces of the vehicle.
  7. 按所示切割第一个新铰链柱面板 (M3 ASY PNL HINGE PILLAR),以制作衬垫板。
    Cut Line
    • B = 130 mm
    • C = 310 mm
  8. 在中间将衬垫板一切为二,然后将两块衬垫板放置入位,并使用定位焊将两者焊在一起。

  13. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  14. Install the new component or components.
  15. Perform resistance spot welding.

  18. Install the fasteners as indicated.
  19. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
