Instrument Panel Steering Column Shroud Upper (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the steering wheel. See Steering Wheel (Remove and Install).
  2. Use the plastic trim tool to release the clips that attach the steering column upper shroud to the lower shroud, and then pull the upper shroud up to remove it from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the steering column upper shroud onto the vehicle, and then install the clips that attach the steering column upper shroud to the lower shroud.
    Note
    Make sure that the clips are properly engaged.
  2. Install the steering wheel. See Steering Wheel (Remove and Install).
