 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the driver seat outboard side shield assembly. See Side Shield Assembly - Outboard - Driver Seat (6 Seat) (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the driver seat thigh extension switch button. See Button - Thigh Extension - 1st Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the driver seat thigh extension switch to the driver seat outboard side shield assembly, and then release the tab to remove the thigh extension switch.
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket

Install

  1. Install the tab that attaches the driver seat thigh extension switch to the driver seat outboard side shield assembly, and then install the screws (x2) that attach the thigh extension switch to the outboard side shield assembly.
    0.7 Nm (6 lbs-in)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  2. Install the driver seat thigh extension switch button. See Button - Thigh Extension - 1st Row - LH (Model YL) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the driver seat outboard side shield assembly. See Side Shield Assembly - Outboard - Driver Seat (6 Seat) (Remove and Install).
