Procedure

Install the license plate
onto the license plate mounting bracket (2132211-00-A).

Install the license plate
mounting bracket to the rear fascia.
NotePlace the tool at the center of the fascia. Make sure the notches align with the license plate lights and the tool is secured.

Install the license plate
self-tapping screws (x2).
1 Nm (.7 lbs-ft)CAUTIONTo prevent damage to the bumper beam, do not use self tapping screws that are longer than 16mm.NoteAfter tapping, use low-torque setting to drive the screws.NoteTorque at later steps.TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
- 8 mm socket
- 2 in extension
- Digital Torque Screwdriver 0.10Nm - 2.0Nm

Remove the license plate
mounting bracket from the rear fascia.

Torque the license plate
screws (x2).
