Remove
- Remove the HV battery. See HV Battery (AWD) (3-Phase) (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
-
Release the spring clip to disconnect the rear powertrain supply hose from the PCS
inlet hose coupling, and then plug the ends of fittings as soon as possible to avoid
coolant loss.
NoteThe connection is located at the RH rear of the HV Battery.NoteCoolant loss greater than 1L requires vacuum fill.NoteIf the battery is returned to Reman, remove the special tool plugs.
-
Remove the clips (x5) to remove the powertrain supply tube from the RH side of the HV
battery.
NoteIf the tube will be discard, remove plugs from each end of the hose and allow the coolant to fully drain.
Install
-
Install the clips (x5) to secure the powertrain supply tube to the RH side of the HV
battery.
NotePay attention to the position of the tube.
-
Remove the plugs on the ends of fittings, and then connect the rear powertrain supply
hose to the PCS inlet hose coupling.
NotePerform a push-pull-push test to make sure that the hose is fully secured.NoteThe connection is located at the RH rear of the HV Battery.NoteCoolant loss greater than 1L requires vacuum fill.
- Install the HV battery. See HV Battery (AWD) (3-Phase) (Model YL) (Remove and Install).
