Remove
- Disconnect LV battery. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect the electrical connector
from the front end module bracket crash accelerometer sensor.

Remove the bolt that attaches the
front end module bracket crash accelerometer sensor, and then remove the sensor.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
Install

Position the sensor to the vehicle, and then install the bolt that attaches the front
end module bracket crash accelerometer sensor.

Connect the electrical connector to
the front end module bracket crash accelerometer sensor.
- Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV battery. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
