Remove

Remove the center console. See Center Console (Model Y L) (Remove and Install).

Remove the bolts (x2) and the nut that attach the LH IP (instrument panel) riser
bracket to the vehicle.
TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket
- 10 mm deep socket

Remove the LH IP riser bracket.
NoteGently move the left side of the air distribution box backward, and then lift the riser bracket upward to remove it.
Install

Install the LH IP riser bracket.
NoteGently move the left side of the air distribution box backward, and then insert the riser bracket downward.

Install the bolts (x2) and the nut that attach the LH IP (instrument panel) riser
bracket to the vehicle.
NoteThe 13 mm bolt and nut are 25 Nm, the 10 mm bolt is 6 Nm.TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 13 mm socket
- 10 mm deep socket
- Install the center console. See Center Console (Model Y L) (Remove and Install).
