Rear End Panel - Lower - Center Console (Model YL) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all doors and lower all windows.
  2. Move both front seats forward.
  3. Pry the lower rear end panel assembly horizontally backward to release the clips (x5) and tabs (x2).
    Note
    Do not pull the assembly too far away from the center console. The harness is still connected to its back.
    Note
    Be careful not to damage the guide pins (x3).
  4. Disconnect the cup holder speaker connector.

Install

  1. Connect the cup holder speaker connector.
  2. Align the guide pins (x3) on the lower rear end panel assembly to the holes on the center console, and then horizontally push the panel assembly forward to secure the clips (x5) and tabs (x2).
  3. Move both front seats to original position.
  4. Raise all windows and close all doors.
