Torque Specifications

9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)

Nuts (X3) that attach the spoiler outer panel to the liftgate.
5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

Bolts that attach the carbon fiber spoiler to the spoiler outer panel.
2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
  • Torx T25 socket
  • Ratchet/torque wrench

Remove

  1. Remove the spoiler outer panel. See Spoiler Outer Panel (Remove and Replace)
  2. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the carbon fiber spoiler to the spoiler outer panel, and then remove the carbon fiber spoiler from the spoiler outer panel (5x tabs).

Install

  1. Clean the outer spoiler panel using IPA wipes.
    Note
    Allow 1 minute to dry.
  2. Position the carbon fiber spoiler to the spoiler outer panel (5x tabs).
  3. Install the bolts (x4) that attach the carbon fiber spoiler to the spoiler outer panel.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  4. Install the spoiler outer panel. See Spoiler Outer Panel (Remove and Replace)
