Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Wheelhouse Extension (Front).
  2. Remove the original component.

    The measurements shown indicate the outer boundaries (maximum size) of the repair area, and a smaller repair area may be cut. If damage extends beyond this area, contact Tesla Collision Repair for assistance.

    Use the service part as a reference for material removal from the Cast Rear Under Body. Bulk cut as needed until the service part fits in the repair area.

  3. Prepare for installation.

  4. Prepare for installation.

  5. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  6. Install the new component or components.
  7. Apply seam sealer to the entire outboard edge of the new component.
  8. Install the Wheelhouse Extension (Front).
  9. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
