- This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

Repair Procedure

Remove the original component.

Factory Spot Welds

Prepare for installation.
NoteFor each rivet being installed, drill a 6.7 mm hole through the Frame Rail Outer only. Do not drill through the inner Frame Rail Reinforcement.

Structural Rivets, 6.5 mm Short
or Structural Bulb Rivets, 6.5 mm
- A = 19 mm.
- B = 11 mm.
- C = 45 mm.
- D = 27 mm.
- E = 34 mm.
- F = 26 mm.
- G = 40 mm.
- H = 20 mm.
- Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
- Install the new component or components.
