Rear Panel Side Assembly (for 1–Piece Cast Under Body)
Repair Information
- Review all collision repair general practices and safety documentation and wear the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) before beginning this procedure.
- This procedure can be completed without using a frame bench.

3 | Bolt | Tesla part number 2007069. Note Retain these
bolts for use when the bumper beam is installed. These bolts
are installed from the inside the vehicle through the Rear
Rail End Plate where the studs were removed. |

Repair Procedure
- Remove the "Panel Assembly - Rear" (refer to the Service Manual procedure).
- Remove the original component.

Prepare for installation.
NoteA red X indicates a location where a factory-installed fastener is not being replaced.
- Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
- Install the new component or components.

Perform resistance spot
welding.

- Install the "Panel Assembly - Rear" (refer to the Service Manual procedure).
- Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
