Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Shock Tower Support (Rear).
  2. Remove the Front Rail Inner Reinforcement (Complete).
  3. Cut the original component at the indicated locations.

  4. Remove the original component.
    or Factory Spot Welds
  5. Cut the new Front Frame Rail Inner as indicated below to make the new component.

  6. Cut the new Front Frame Rail Inner as indicated below to create a reinforcement plate.

    • C = 115 mm
  7. Cut the reinforcement plate as indicated.

  8. Create a reinforcement plate .

  10. Prepare for installation.

  11. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  12. Install the new component or components.
  13. Perform resistance spot welding.

  14. Install the Front Rail Inner Reinforcement (Complete).
  15. Install the Shock Tower Support (Rear).
  16. Install the Front Trunk Bracket.
  17. Install the Front Subframe Mount (Inner).
  18. Install the fasteners as indicated.
  19. Install the fastener as indicated.
  20. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
