Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Busbars - Charge Port to HV Battery (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Insulator - Wheelhouse - Set (Remove & Replace).
  3. Remove the NVH Insulator - 3rd Row Seat (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Brake Lines - Rear - RH to Sill (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Brake Lines - LH Sill (RWD) (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the Front Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Trunk Assembly - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the HV Battery (RWD) (Remove and Install).
  10. Remove the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
  11. Remove the Heelboard Crossmember.
  12. Remove the necessary portion of the Door Ring Outer to expose the underlying component being replaced.
  13. Remove the Cast Rub Bridge Crossmember (Rear).
  14. Remove the Cast Rub Bridge Crossmember (Middle).
  15. Remove the Rear Rail.
  16. Remove the original component.

  20. Prepare for installation.

  24. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  25. Install the new component or components.

    or Bolts Torque to 28 Nm.

  26. Install the Rear Rail.
  27. Install the Cast Rub Bridge Crossmember (Middle).
  28. Install the Cast Rub Bridge Crossmember (Rear).
  29. Install the necessary portion of the Door Ring Outer to cover the underlying components.
  30. Install the new Heelboard Crossmember.
  31. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  32. Install the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Install).
  33. Install the HV Battery (RWD) (Remove and Install).
  34. Install the Trunk Assembly - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  35. Install the Front Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  36. Install the Brake Lines - LH Sill (RWD) (Remove and Replace).
  37. Install the Brake Lines - Rear - RH to Sill (Non-Structural Pack) (Remove and Replace).
  38. Install the Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  39. Install the NVH Insulator - 3rd Row Seat (Remove and Replace).
  40. Install the Insulator - Wheelhouse - Set (Remove & Replace).
  41. Install the Busbars - Charge Port to HV Battery (Remove and Replace).
