Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Fender Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the Carrier - Bumper - Front (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Ankle Catcher (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Crush Can - Upper - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Hood Assembly (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Carrier Bracket - Cowl Screen - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the Door - Front - LH (Remove and Install).
  8. Remove the A/C Compressor and Supermanifold (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Assembly - Cooling Fan and Shroud (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Radiator (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the Brake Hydraulic Control Unit (Remove and Replace).
  12. Remove the Damper - Front - LH (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  13. Remove the Mount - Front Upper Control Arm - LH (Remove and Replace).
  14. Remove the Jounce Hose - Front Brake - LH (Remove and Replace).
  15. Remove the Assembly - Brake Booster and Master Cylinder (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
  16. Remove the Assembly - Brake Lines - Front (Remove and Install).
  17. Remove the Insulator - Dash (Remove and Replace).
  18. Remove the Module - Body Controller - LH (Remove and Replace).
  19. Remove the Subframe Assembly - Front (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  20. Remove the Steering Column (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
  21. Remove the Shotgun Outer.
  22. Remove the Dash Crossmember.
  23. Remove the Toeboard Outer Panel.
  24. Remove the original component.

    When drilling out spot welds, use a drill bit that creates a hole correctly sized for the fastener that will replace the spot weld.
  25. Prepare to install the Longitudinal Upper on the Front Rail Complete service part.

  26. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces of the Longitudinal Upper on the Front Rail Complete service part.
  27. Install the Longitudinal Upper on the Front Rail Complete service part.
  28. Prepare for installation.

  29. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  30. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts to 22 Nm.
  31. Install the Shotgun Outer.
  32. Install the fasteners as indicated.

  33. Install the Dash Crossmember.
  34. Install the Toeboard Outer.
  35. Install the Fender and Lamp Support Bracket Assembly.
  36. Install the fastener as indicated.

  37. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  38. Install the Steering Column (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
  39. Install the Subframe Assembly - Front (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
  40. Install the Module - Body Controller - LH (Remove and Replace).
  41. Install the Insulator - Dash (Remove and Replace).
  42. Install the Assembly - Brake Lines - Front (Remove and Install).
  43. Install the Assembly - Brake Booster and Master Cylinder (LHD) (Remove and Replace).
  44. Install the Jounce Hose - Front Brake - LH (Remove and Replace).
  45. Install the Mount - Front Upper Control Arm - LH (Remove and Replace).
  46. Install the Damper - Front - LH (Dual Motor) (Remove and Replace).
