Rear Spring and Subframe Mount

Correction code: 10101811502 10101811602 NOTE: Unless explicitly stated in the procedure, the above correction code includes all Collision Repair work required to perform this procedure, including the linked Collision Repair procedures. Do not stack Collision Repair correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. Add any associated mechanical procedures needed to perform this procedure.

Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Bumper Beam - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Front Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Tub Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Busbar - Charge Port to HV Battery (China) (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Trunk Floor Assembly (Complete).
  10. Remove the Rear Damper Mount Upper Assembly with Stiffeners.
  11. Cut the Wheelhouse Inner as shown and bend back the cut section to expose the spot welds underneath.

  12. Remove the original component.

  13. Cut the original component as shown, then remove the section shown in red to expose the fasteners underneath.

  15. Secure the flange of the service part using Installation Spot Welds.

  16. Perform resistance spot welding.

  17. Prepare for installation.

    • F = 88 mm
    • G = 24 mm
    • H = 5 mm
    • I = 9 mm

  18. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  19. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the bolts to 24 Nm.
  20. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the the cut section of the Wheelhouse Inner.
  21. Bend the cut section of the Wheelhouse Inner as shown and to cover the fasteners underneath.
  22. Install the Rear Damper Mount Upper Assembly with Stiffeners.
  23. Install the Trunk Floor Assembly (Complete).
  24. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  25. Install the Noise Absorber - Motor Bay - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  26. Install the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  27. Install the Wheel Arch Liner - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  28. Install the Busbar - Charge Port to HV Battery (China) (Remove and Replace).
  29. Install the Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  30. Install the Tub Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  31. Install the Front Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  32. Install the Bumper Beam - Rear (Remove and Replace).
