Repair Procedure

  1. Remove the Air Extractor (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the Bumper Beam - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the Tub Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the Seal - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the Striker - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the Fascia - Rear - Upper (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the Front Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Remove the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the Rear Frame Rail (Lower).
  11. Remove the Rear Frame Rail (Upper).
  12. Remove the original component.

  13. Prepare for installation.

  14. Apply structural adhesive to the mating surfaces on the vehicle and the new component or components.
  15. Install the new component or components.
    Torque the nuts to 13 Nm.
  16. Install the Rear Frame Rail (Upper).
  17. Install the Rear Frame Rail (Lower).
  18. Perform any necessary post-repair operations.
  19. Install the Subframe Assembly - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  20. Install the Trim - Side - Trunk - LH (Remove and Replace).
  21. Install the Front Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  22. Install the Fascia - Rear - Upper (Remove and Replace).
  23. Install the Striker - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  24. Install the Seal - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  25. Install the Tub Carpet - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  26. Install the Bumper Beam - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  27. Install the Air Extractor (Remove and Replace).
